Deliverance: the Forgotten Ministry of the Church
Deliverance is not merely a topic that piques my interest but one that merits our full attention. This topic is one on which I have done much research, primarily due to the increased need I see in our churches. It is often a misunderstood ministry within the body of Christ.
Many shy away from this ministry for fear of the unknown. Some believe this was a ministry for the early church but is not relevant now. Others are of the opinion that it is a ministry for specific people who have been chosen by God to operate in specialized gifting. Then there are some who believe that there is no need for a deliverance ministry or have chosen to disregard it altogether out of ignorance or fear.
